Hartford Hospital Team

As an AVON Foundation Breast Care Fund recipient, Hartford Hospital partners with the Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (CBCCEDP) to provide breast screenings in the greater Hartford community.

The team brings breast health care beyond the four walls of Hartford Hospital. Dorely Roldan, the outreach educator rallies advanced practice nurses and physicians to provide clinical breast exams and breast health education on site at community health care screenings. She also refers patients to the mobile mammography van and community clinics. Maria Palomares, is the case manager for the CBCCEDP and oversees the daily operations and follows up on all abnormal results.

If a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer, she ensures that medical and surgical care is available and provided to our women. Lisa Mondani, represents the next generation of health care providers and volunteers for the program as she awaits her start to nursing school. Camille Servodidio is the project director for the program and keeps the team focus and driven.
