About CAI

Since 2000, Cicatelli Associates Inc.(CAI) has been funded by the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade to coordinate and manage the Avon Foundation Breast Care Fund, now called the Avon Breast Health Outreach Program (BHOP). Established in 1977, CAI is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) educational organization that provides training and capacity building assistance to health and human service providers throughout the United States and internationally. Its mission is to use the transformative power of education and research to foster a more aware, healthy, compassionate and equitable world.

CAI works with providers who address major social problems, particularly those who serve women, children, minorities, persons with disabilities, and others from underserved and disadvantaged populations. It has longstanding involvement with women's issues, including reproductive health, breast and cervical cancer, prenatal care, sexual and domestic abuse, substance abuse, and mental health. CAI has worked in 23 countries and in all 50 states, reaching more than 8,000 health and human service organizations worldwide, involving more than 80,000 staff and offering more than 1,500 training programs annually. Click here to learn more about Cicatelli Associates Inc.
